| Description : | The artifact is a shoemakers awl. The straight awl has a round wooden handle with a piece of steel extending from the center like a needle. It was used in sewing the seam and some other parts of a leather boot together. A piece of rope is attached for hanging it up. There are cracks in the wood. |
