| Description : | A long iron rod with a paddle-shape end with three attachments that has three different size hooks. Attached to the rod is a pear-shape weight that moves up and down. It is a portable weighing device also known as a roman balance. It was used in the fields at harvest time for weighing crops or animals. This steel yard can weigh up to 150 pounds. It was manufactured by Opedish Westwood Warranted. |
