| Description : | The artifact is a jointer plane. It is a wooden rectangular block .The plane has a square opening near the center for a double blade or bit and a wooden wedge. This artifact is also known as a "floor plane" and was used for fitting or joining. It was handmade and the bit or iron was made from an old file. The handle of the plane is missing. This jointer plane belonged to the donors father, Mr. Pearce Jones, Trinity East. |
