| Description : | The artifact is a pair of Acme skates. The color is silver and they are shaped like a foot. Engraved on the skate is "Halifax Pattern Club Skate, No. 9 " Written between the clamps is R and L to indicate right and left and size of skate. The top of the skates are curved slightly to conform with the curvature of the boot top. There are adjustments on the skate to widen and lengthen them to fit boots. The Acme skates came into use after the Stock skates. |
