| Description : | A 35 piece Tap & Die Set enclosed in a wooden rectangle shape box. Dies are used to cut a full thread (bolt) at one cut and the taps cut all the nuts alike which are a perfect fit for bolts. With fair usage and a sufficient supply of good heavy oil, a solid die will cut thousands of bolts. In working the dies the guides render it impossible to cut a crooked thread. These tools were indispensable to the metal worker and were especially useful to the carriage builder. |
