On the front page there is a photo in the middle, and caption below: "Premier John Buchanan cuts the ribbon to officially open Alderney Gate. Looking on from left to right are: Dartmouth Mayor John Savage, Dartmouth South MLA Roland Thorahill, Micheal Zatzman and Joseph Zatzman, developers of Alderney Gate, and Dartmouth East MLA Jim Smith." On the back, there is a photo of Dartmouth Heritage Museum Director Syd Gosley and Dartmouth Mayor John Savage. They were placing a "Time Capsule" in Alderney Gate. The capsule, to be opened in 100 years, contains "materials reflective of the time in which we live", including copies of the Dartmouth Business News. |
