| Description : | This is a series. Series title is HISTORIES. Series consists of written histories of First Presbyterian Church, Prince Street Presbyterian Church and Knox Presbyterian Church histories, as well as histories about other Maritime Presbyterian churches. Also includes sermons regarding past ministers of the First Presbyterian church including James Drummond MacGregor and Rev. Frank Baird regarding Rev. Duncan Ross. Also includes a history of open air communion called "Fencing of the Long Table" and an extension of greetings from the Town of Pictou to First Presbyterian Church on the occasion of their 200th Anniversary (1986). Includes original call from the Pictou Harbour Congregation (Prince Street Presbyterian Church) to Minister John McKinlay (1824) containing signatures of many Presbyterian citizens of Pictou in that year. |
