| Description : | Pictured is Sheriff Robert MacDougall. He is seated on a wooden chair. His right arm is resting on an ornate table with a statue of a rearing horse. He is wearing striped pants and a striped vest with a dark coloured long jacket. |
| Commentaires : | Robert MacDougall (circa 1831 circa 1883) was from Judique. He worked as a clerk for Peter Smyth for a number of years. He was the second sheriff of Inverness County the first being George Lawrence. Sheriff MacDougall lived in the north end of town about the area across the road from John and Cathy Gillies. |
