| Commentaires : | According to Josts Guysborough Sketches and Essays, Mary Ann Hart was born on February 11, 1845 to Joseph Lee Hart and Rebecca Smith of Manchester, Guysborough County. Rebecca Smith was a granddaughter of Port Hood's first permanent settler - Captain David Smith. Rebecca's father, John, was a son of Captain David. Mary Ann married George Watts of Port Hood in 1868 in Manchester. According to the Smiths of Cape Breton the couple resided in Lynn, Massachusetts. Mary Ann died in 1936. The couple had no children. |
