Commentaires : | This flag along with 3 identical flags had been used on the horses' bridles', that pulled Mr. Hiram Hyde's Concord Coach. This coach, later King Edward VII, from Truro, to Pictou, on August 8, 1860. The flags were given, later to Mr. T.G. McMullen. They were then handed to Mr. C.B. McMullen, who his daughters Gwyneth Munro and Frances Kitchen. The flags were loaned to the Nova Scotia Museum, Halifax, for a numbers of years, with the provision that they be returned to Truro when a museum was established in the town. |
