The larger center ring has one drop shaped cut amethyst near the top, with three smaller cut amethysts above it and a fifth chip amethyst at the bottom framed on each side by slender leaf shapes. At the very top of the brooch is a gold knob abd there are two othe smaller gold knobs below the bigger stones. Two fine gold chains loop from each side to the centre and cross each other. At the back is a gol loop which might have been used to use the brooch as a necklace. The base of the earrings are two overlapping rings one larger than the other and oval in shape. On the front the design matches the similar design of the centre of the brooch with two slender leaf forms  framing a drop shaped cut amethyst and a smaller amethyst chip. There is small leaf shap at the top of the earring.
