Description : | Three young women outside the open door of a building identified by its sign as a Public Telephone Station. One woman is wearing a middy blouse with sailor collar and cuffs over a long white skirt, another is wearing a mid-calf length checkered day dress with a high neck and elbow length sleves, black stockings and black "Mary Jane" shoes. Both have long hair dressed up off their necks. It is not possible to see the clothing of the third woman. The building has wooden clapboard siding, a sash window with cloth awning, and the open door is screened. |
Fonctions : | Greta Eagles was identified as the operator by the donor. Many other photos in this accession feature the same women and girls and they seem to have been taken on or a round the day of the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Patricia to Wolfville in 1912. |
