| Description : | A large square piece of paper. Small writing in the two top corners indicating the telephone number and P.O. box number of the business. underneath those numbers, approximately two inches in on both sides of the page, are two holes punched. In between the two holes punched are lines of writing. The lines of writing includes the name of the business centered near the top of the page, followed by services and products offered and place in which business is operated. Underneath that are places where the store clerk writes the date and the name of the patron. In this case, the date is July 6, 1956 and the patron is Mr. L Pearman. The remaining four fifths of the page are taken up by a chart, with spaces for the store clerk to write the quantity of items, part number, description of item, price of item and the total amount. The first seven lines of the chart are filled in woth products purchased. directly underneath the seventh line of writing is a blue stamp that says, "Received Payment with thanks, C.H. Pulsifer's Garage LTD. per....". The store clerk wrote his signature in pencil within the stamp. |
