Description : Round ironstone gravy boat, ten-sided, resembling a small footed urn. The dish has two applied abstract-leaf handles, and a ten-sided lid with elevated rosette handle and a spoon-hole. There is a ten-sided base plate whose handles are two extended sides. The pattern is Moss Rose.
Commentaires : Moss Rose was a famous Victorian type of rose with a moss-or hair-like covering over bud. According to the original accession card, the dinner set was probably from a 6th generation Loyalist from Albert County, NB, family names Bryan Smith Titus.
