Description :	Covered bowl on standard; grape and vine pattern in relief around exterior of bowl, smooth on interior; bowl has a skirt with a leaf design; above and below the grape and vine are bands of vertical ribs; lid has a finial with eight facets; grape and vine design in relief on interior of lid; band of vertical ribs below.
Commentaires :	A compote dish is used to serve the dessert of the same name comprising fruit that has either been stewed or cooked in syrup. This one was likely made at the Trenton Glass Factory in Trenton, N.S. by the Nova Scotia Glass Company
