Description : | The photo shows a large house with three gables and two chimneys. There is moving timber in front, a train in the background, a car on the right and a truck on the left. |
Commentaires : | The DeWolfe house was built in 1817 by Elisha DeWolf for his son Thomas Andrew Strange DeWolf. It was originally located on Main St. at the corner of Gaspereau, but was moved to a spot near Front St, site of the present Anvil Tavern. It was later demolished. The photographer lived opposite the DeWolfe House on Main St. The car in the photo is 1955 vintage. |
