| Description : | This is a childs nightgown. It is full legnth with short sleeves, an empire waist and a gathered skirt. On the front there is a cotton and lace inset diamond shape and "L" shape. The neck is round and is trimmed with lace as are the sleeves. The skirt is hemmed with a decorative scalloped edge sewn 6cm from the edge. The back has two button closures. |
| Fonctions : | This item was donated to the museum by Ivan and Bertha Thomas (b.1911). It belonged to either Bertha Sollows Thomas or her mother Mrs. Kenneth (Florence Sollows 1882-1971) of Port Maitland. |
