Commentaires : | This item would date from the time when River Louison, a small community east of Dalhousie, had its own post office. During this period, there were many more post offices than today including three in Charlo. This was a time when automobiles were non existent or rare and most families did not have a horse, so post offices had to be within walking distance. |
