Commentaires : Canuck Pottery Ltd. was established in 1938 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Operation was a continuation of Foley Pottery begun circa 1890's by James William Foley. Business continued under Fenwick, son of James Foley, in the Foley residence on Bayside Drive, Saint John. Sons of Fenwick Foley, Percy and Alphonse were owners and started Cauuck Pottery Ltd. in 1938. Canuck potteries produced various lines of pottery under the Canuck name and also Beachcomber Ware and Evangeline Ware. The Canuck Pottery factory in Saint John, New Brunswick moved to Labelle, Quebec after a devastating fire at the Saint John location in 1963 . The factory ceased operation in 1970.
