Description : | The shoehorn is brownish red in color with black printing on one side. The shape of the object is wider at one end that is rounded and then tapers into a smaller rounded end. There is a hold near the end of the smaller end. There are a few dark stains on the rounded edge. |
Commentaires : | Doyle's Ltd. Reliable Footwear was located at 400 St. George Street. A.T. Doyle was the President and manager. The store also sold groceries in addition to footwear. In the early 1930's the store was solely a grocery store. The store closed in the mid 1940's at the same location it had started. |
Fonctions : | The shoehorn was used by employees at Doyle's to help put on shoes for the customers or were given to customers to take home. |
