| Description : | this is a cast iron cooking stove. it has two ovens, one directly behind the firebox and the other in an elevated position of the back of the stove. the stove has a number of cracks and the front doors are partially burned away. to be used as a pattern for reproduction museology 97-04. ads for the new brunswicker cook stove appear in many of the local newspapers of the period 1850-1860 example; headquarters aug. 24. 1859. |
