| Description : | part of a tea service consisting of teapot -- creamer and waste bowl plus two cake plates, 9 cups and 11 saucers; white soft paste porcelain with an overall pattern of twigs and tiny blobs resembling florets. the cups are moulded with a feather like swirl on the outside. the pot is bulbous with four ornately done feet. rockingham was made in very large quantities at the period. the general shape would suggest that maker but only an expert can be sure. |
