Description : | a small light green cardboard box in two pieces with title: 50 super parisian thick ivory cisiting cards t. h. hall, saint john, n.b. on the top of the lid the box was used to sell visiting cards and probably store them in a pocket or a drawer. martin trail said he picked it up in the fredericton area but could not remember where. the box is interesting for 3 reasons: 1. provides an example of small artifacts which could be printed in our print shop. 2. provides a smaple of printing designs and type styles used in n.b. 3. shows how visiting cards were packaged and sold. |
