Commentaires : The purpose of a plough throughout history has been to do two things. The first is to remove whatever grasses or other plants have grown on the surface by cutting into the soil and essentially burying them. The second is to draw fresh, nutritious soil up to the surface. Examples of ploughs exist all over the world. From the Egyptian Ard to the Celtic plough without wheels referred to as an Aratrum by the Romans. This idea however extends to all forms of tilling the soil, in some regions traditionally it was done with hand tools instead of an animal pulled plough. The idea however remains the same. This plough specifically was designed to be used on flat, or near flat, ground. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plough https://smallfarmersjournal.com/walking-plow/
