Fonctions : | "Jean Shearer - Kathy's grandmother - was a senior telephone operator in London England during and prior to WWI. This trunk held her belongings on the unknown venture across the ocean to marry her soldier Pt. Bob Shearer. They were wed at Bright, Ontario, later moving again to Pense, Sask. and then to Saltcoats. She then moved to Leslie where she lived until she was 95. She moved to Golden Acres after that where she lived to be 103 years old. This trunk accompanied her in her younger moves." |
