Fonctions : Was donated to the ranch by Mrs. Nancy Marston, long time rancher, who passed away January 11, 1992. Born in Merritt, Nancy was the daughter of Harold and Muriel Hooper, the third of five children. Nancy and her husband Bob purchased the Petit Creek Ranch in 1948. They later sold the ranch in 1959 , but they built a home at the mouth of Petit Creek where they resided for some twenty years. Bob and Nancy were famous for their rawhide work. Ranchers supplied the hides from which the Marstons fashioed beautiful braided headstalls and lines. Bob passed away in 1979 and Nancy moved into Merritt a year or so later and resided on Parker Drive. Many of the artifacts that have been donated by her, originally belonged to Mr. Marston's mother and father. They were from England and had a large estate there.
