| Description : | c. 1915. An off white linen pillow cover. There is a pocket (42.5cm x 31.5cm) for the pillow which is very plain but an extended 'flap' is fancily made with a square of material the same size as the pocket but with a 5.2cm fill around the edge and an inner embroidered border pattern. Embroidery is in pale pink and white. The borders are tape like and have been fastened to the linen piece by a tiny cross stitch along both sides. Judging by the size it would appear to be a child's pillow.; Fibre, flax |
