Fonctions : | 1. Baronial-Gothic Revival is typified by a crenellated tower. This is typical of armouries in many cities. 2. Guelph Armoury was built in 1907-09 and is located on the corner of Wyndham and Farquhar Sts. Built on the portion of the original Market Square which had been used as a fair ground. Armoury replaced old Drill Hall which had been across the street. In 1910 the development of the railway subway made Wyndham St. approach to the Armoury difficult. |
