Description : Green hardcover photograph album with brown Art Nouveau style floral decoration on front cover with "Album" in the centre. The album contains 24 black and white images - two on each page and below each image is a number. On the very last page is a list of what each image is, corresponding to the number below the image.#1 Richardson Family on their farm - Image of a man, his wife and their two children in a field.#2 Richardson Family Farm - Image of a stone farmhouse with Two women, ech holding children standing in front of the house. Sitting in front of the house is a man holding a third child.#3 Mr. Richardson's Farm - Image of a young boy (same as in #1-2) playing with 4 or 5 puppies. In the background are some wooden out buildings.#4 Victoria Bridge - Image of a gravel road with a bridge in the background. In the foreground is a boy leaning against a bicycle. There are also hydro poles running along side the road.#5 Bell Organ Factory - Image of the Bell Organ factory on Carden Street. On the street in front of the factory are several empty carts and one wagon with a horse hitched to it. In the background, some of Macdonell Street can be seen including a livery and on the side of a building an ad for Quaker Oats.#6 St. Joseph's Hopsital - Image of St. Joe's in the winter with a horse drawn sled in front. The image shows the brick building and the rounded windows. there is a skylight in one of the peaked areas of the roof and there are some intricate carved details on the parapet.#7 St. George's Square - Image of the Post Office/Customs Building in St. George's Square. The clock tower doesn't have the clock yet. here are open air and regular streetcars in the Square and the Blacksmith fountain is visible. The Trader's bank can be seen in the background and Douglas street partially visible.#8 Macdonell Street with Union Hotel on left - Image of Macdonell Street in the winter. There are several sleighs on the street and parked in front of buildings. In the foreground is the Union Hotel, part of the Hastings Blck and farther down the street is the Commercial Hotel. Also visible is a sign for Morris Harness Shop and in the background part of the Cutten Kelly block on Wyndham Street is visible.#9 Upper Wyndham Street in winter - Image of the East side of Upper Wyndham St. In the foreground is part of the side of the Post Office building. There are several shops visible along the street. There is the Traders Bank, R.E. Nelson men's furnishings, W.A. Clark Jeweller, C.L. Nelles, Frank Dowler Co., and G.B. Ryan. On the street there are sleds and cutters.#10 City Hall - Image of a side view of City Hall and Carden street. In the foreground in a bandstand in Jubilee Park. To the right some of the north side of Carden street is visible. In the background some of Wilson street is visible and in the back is Church of Our Lady without the spires. Also visible are the rectory and the Loretto Convent.#11 Allan's Bridge along Grand Trunck Railway. The image shows a train heading towards the camera. In the background is Allan's Mill on the left and the Bell Organ factory on the right. In the foreground to the right is a stone house in partial view (possibly Yankee Cottage).#12 Top of Allan's Bridge. Image of Allan's bridge over the Speed River. There is the railway bridge at the top and underneath is an automobile bridge. In the background on the left is the Priory. In the very back the spire of St. George's Church can be seen.#13 The Weir Under Allan's Bridge. The image was taken in the winter and is taken from Macdonell street. The images shows the road going under the bridge and a small pedestrian bridge on the left. To the right, some of Allan's Mill is visible and to the left, some of Yankee Cottage is visible.#14 Grand Trunk Passenger Station in Winter. The image shows a train coming into the station. The train has a plow attachment to the front and it is loaded up with snow. In the background the GTR station is visible. To the left there are several carts and there is a person loading up one of the carts.#15 Waterloo Avenue in winter. The image shows the streetcar tracks running down Waterloo Avenue. The street is tree lined but no leaves are on the trees. There are several houses along each side of the street as well.#16 The Commercial Hotel in Winter. The image is of Macdonell street, showing the Commercial Hotel in the foreground. Parked in front of the hotel are several sleighs including one in the foreground with one white horse and one dark horse. Just to the left of the hotel is Thorp's Seed Store. The Cutten-Kelly Block at the corner of Wyndham is just visible in the background.#17 The King Edward Hotel - The hotel stands at the corner of Carden and Wyndham Streets. The hotel has awnings over the entrance and there are some stroefronts on the first floor of the hotel. The only store that can be made out is the City Shoe Store.#18 Neeve Street, inter - This image shows Neeve looking from Wellington up towards Carden. the Bell Organ factory can be seen at the very end of the street. In the foreground on the right is a carpet store.#19 Corner of Market Place and Wyndham - View of Carden Street (known as Market St. or Market Place) looking towards Wyndham St. in winter. The tower of the King Edward Hotel is just visible on the left in the background. The T.P. Heffernan store is in the foreground on the left.#20 St. George's Church - View of St. George's Church and Woolwich street in winter. In the background is a house and an industrial building.#21 View on Wellington St., Spring - View of a boy fishing off of a tree stump in the Eramosa River. In the background is Gow's Mill and Gow's Bridge.#22 Children sleighing on Cork Street. There are two sleds with several children on each sled. They are in the middle of the street. In the background several houses are visible.#23 Removing a House - The image is of a house on train tracks being moved. In the foreground is a horse attached to a crank system that is helping to move the house along the tracks. On the tracks there are men helping to move the house from behind and in front of the house is a man supervising the move. In the background the house at 96 Arthur is visible. The street the horse is on is possibly Norwich St. (this is based on the location of 96 Arthur st. in proximity to the street).#24 The Ice Harvest, Cutting the Blocks - mage of men harvesting ice blocks along the Speed river. There are three men on the river. They have cut long strips in the ice in which they have cut smaller blocks of ice. In the foreground on the left part of a small wooden building is visible.
