| Description : | Stryker wedge frame which consists of metal (a) wedge frame on four castors; the frame is "I" shaped with a main bar that supports two sliding wooden trays and hydraulic jack; cross bar on main bar supports one wooden tray and armature for the tray to slide along; two adjustable vertical bars extend from wheel-bearing cross bars to support stretcher; vertical bar supports rotating circular frame for clamp; circular frame includes handles; two (b-c) stretchers intersect circular frame and are held in place by clamp; stretchers are piled one over another and consist of metal frames covered in canvas with eyelets and spring bindings; stretchers contain plastic encased foam mattress; one stretcher includes a circular opening measuring approximately 6 inches; (d) separate canvas piece has eyelets and small circular opening; 2 fabric (e-f) belts have locking mechanisms; (g) vice with three screws; (h) rod with connectors extends vertically and loops at a right angle; the stretchers each separate into plastic covered foam (i,k,m) mattress pads and (j,l,n) cotton pad covers. |
