Description :	Wax models (moulage) of a uterus with a large intramural myoma and an enlarged fallopian tube; the model is made of oil-painted beeswax with talc, built up on wood block supports; (a) the model shows a uterus with a large intramural myoma; on the left side is an enlarged fallopian tube with salpingitis which as sealed off the tube; (b) the model shows a cross-section of the uterus (a); a clear vew of the myoma and the cervial canal leading into the endometrial cavity can be seen; the endometrial cavity is depressed due to the tumour; the models are painted to depict true colour
