Description :	Wax models (moulage) of a uterus with fallopian tubes and ovaries on either side, with endometriosis; the models are made of oil-painted beeswax with talc, built up on (a) 3 plywood supports and (b) one plywood support; both models show a uterus with fallopian tubes and ovaries on both sides; there are large endometrial cysts on both ovaries; (a) shows the endometriosis with the uterus and right ovary split to show the inside; (b) shows the same uterus and ovaries closed; the model is painted to depict true colour
