| Description : | Wax model (moulage) of the genitalia of a parous woman with a rectocele; the model is made of oil-painted beeswax with talc, built up on a plywood support and held on by screws to a painted wooden base in order to facilitate displaying it; the edges of the model have gauze around them; the model shows two gloved hands spreading the labia majora and minor to show the posterior wall which has come down; the model has real pubic hair and is painted to depict true colour |
