| Description : | Wax model (moulage) of a somatotype of an obese woman; the model is made of oil-painted beeswax with talc, built up with wires in the legs, body and likely the arms for support; the model shows a naked woman standing up on a round base with her legs straight; feet apart and knees and thighs together; the woman's arms are straight and held against her body from the elbow upwards; her forearms are held out from her body and her palms are turned forward; the model shows some obesity, with the most body fat at her abdomen, hips and buttocks; the model shows no pubic hair and very little breast development; the model is painted to depict true colour |
