Description : | Tonometer with weights and a chart in a case; (a) the case is made of leather-covered wood and lined with blue velvet; the lid is hinged on at the back and has a latch at the front; (b) tonometer is a metal instrument which has a T-shaped top piece which is attached by a rounded piece of metal to a short cylindrical rod; the bottom of the rod is made to be held against a human eye and pushed; the pressure moves a needle attached to the bottom of the T-shaped piece, and can be read on a scale at the top of the T-shaped piece; (c-g) round metal weights made to be used with the tonometer; (h) paper chart for use with the tonometer; (i) heavy paper business card of the tonometer's original owner |
