Fonctions : | The Berlin Piano and Organ Company existed (under various names) from 1890 to circa 1925. The company was formed in 1890 by a group of Berlin businessmen. It was purchased circa 1900 by local furniture manufacturer, W.H. Snyder and Co. In 1906, the piano business was purchased by Foster-Armstrong Co. Ltd., and the Berlin and Snyder names were dropped. After that, the U.S. piano names of Haines Bros. and Marshall and Wendell appeared along with the Foster-Armstrong line. |
