Description : | This is an electroplated, Britannia Metal coffeepot. The coffeepot is tall with a rounded body and a slender neck (both sides of the coffeepot are heavily dented). A curved spout protrudes from the front of the coffeepot , approximately half-way down. An "s-scroll" handle is attached opposite the spout. The coffeepot sits on four tiny, curved feet (each is elaborately decorated at the top with a leaf-shaped design. The body of the coffeepot is decorated with an engraved naturalistic floral scrollwork design. A lid is hinged to the top of the coffeepot with an ornamenal flower and leaf handle. "WARRANTED ENGLISH ELECTRO-PLATE. E.P.B.M." is stamped on the bottom of the coffeepot. Height: 26.0 cm |
Fonctions : | Pieces marked with the letters EPNS mean Electroplated Nickel Silver and pieces marked with the letters EPWM mean Electroplated White Metal. Pieces marked with the letters EPBM mean Electroplated Britannia Metal. The words "triple", "quadruple", "Al", "plate" all indicate that it was plated silver. |
