| Description : | This is a group of eleven metal teaspoons, each different in design. Some of the spoons have a silver plating, while others are made of nickel-silver.(a) "1881 R. ROGERS R. TRIPLE" is marked on the back side of the shank. There is a notched border around the outer edge of the handle and shank. (b) "VERNON SIVER PLATE" is marked on the back side of the shank. There is a raised floral border design at the end of the handle and small raised floral design at the shoulder of the spoon.(c) "VICTOR S. CO. A1 + OVERLAY IS" is marked on the back side of the shank. There is a rounded border around the outer edge of the handle and shank.(d) "ONEIDA COMMUNITY PAR PLATE" is marked on the back side of the shank. The letter "H" is engraved on the handle.(e) "SILVER PLATE" is marked on the back side of the shank. The end of the handle comes to a rounded, tapered point.(f) "WM. ROGERS * A1 IS" is marked on the back side of the shank. There is a raised floral and beaded design on the handle.(g) "NEVADA NICKEL SILVER O.S. CO." is stamped on the back side of the shank. This spoon has a plain, flat handle with a raised scalloped design at the end.(h) "ROGERS NICKEL SILVER" is marked on the back side of the shank. There is raised leaf border around the outer edge of the handle.(i) "ONEIDA COMMUNITY PAR PLATE" is marked on the back side of the shank. This spoon has a simple handle that tapers to a point with an inner raised line border.(j) "PFERLESS SILVER PLATE" is marked on the back side of the shank. This spoon is silver-plated and has a tiny beaded border around the outer edge of the handle and shank. There is a border and sheild design in the centre of the handle.(k) "ROGERS NICKEL SILVER" is marked on the back side of the shank. This spoon has a decorative handle with three raised rose designs on the front, and three raised floral designs on the back. The sides of the handle are curved and the end of the handle is pointed.
