It is a picture of a street with six men, all dressed in white and holding pails and things in their hands. Handwritten across the bottom is: St. Georges Square Guelph. There are two-story yellow brick buildings all joined into one, in front, and behind are two higher brick buildings. There are numerous street signs: Barber's Paint Shop/ Sign Writing, Paper hanging &cc. ; Waterloo Mutual Fire Insurance; J.A. Lamprey Loan Office; Economical Fire Insurance Co.; W.H. Jones, Insurance Agent; Keep Your (image on an eye) on the Spot/Headquarters for Paper Hanging/ Sign Writing, Graining, Glazing/ Decorating, Etc. R.H. Barber; Wm. Coon Barber; John M. Bond & Co.
