| Commentaires : | This photograph was originally in a file with Waterloo County records in the Waterloo County Courthouse. When excavations were made to determine the locations of the bodies of prisoners executed at the Gaol, this photo and five others were withdrawn from the Waterloo County records and used as a guide. According to Connie Giller, Assistant Regional Solicitor, the file that the photos were originally in was dated 1905. It is almost certain that the photographs were taken in 1915 or later, because the photographer (Denton Photo) whose name is embossed on the photographs did not start in business until 1915. Copies of these photographs have been made and returned to the Regional Clerk's Office for future consultation. |
