Description : | Wooden food masher carved from one piece of wood. The curved handle is 23 cm long; cylindrical 'tool' end is 10 cm x 7 cm in circumference. There are two long cracks the full length of the cylindrical tool end. Six additional cracks are in the bottom of this end as well. The top of the handle is carved with a notch which has a 10 cm long (double strand) of string for hanging. Wood is dark brown natural finish. Small dents in the sides of the 'tool' end suggest it was occasionally used as a hammer as well. |
