Commentaires : | This piece is original to the MacDonald Farm Historic Site. This piece, although in good condition and fit for display, is not in its entirety. It is believed to have been a section of a writing desk in it's earliest day. The piece appears much less elegant than the pieces in English-Canadian Furniture of the Georgian period however it appears as though it may have been the inner section of the traditional slant front desk. |
