Description : | Glass crystal bell, handle is very heavy, the body of the bell is very fine there are cut oval shapes around the top of the body of the bell. There is a ring shape around base of the handle and the handle comes up to a pyramidal top. The glass ball hangs on a metal chain from upper interior and is visible from exterior. The bell is hand-cut and is very delicate. |
Commentaires : | Wanda Wyatt, one of Summerside's most gracious and distinguished citizens, was the daughter of James and Cecilia Wyatt. Miss Wyatt studied at Edgehill in Windsor, Nova Scotia, McGill University in Montreal and Chicago University. Wanda Wyatt dedicated most of her 102 years to the promotion of arts, culture and heritage in her community. Cecelia used the bell to call wait staff. Cecelia was Wanda Wyatt's mother. |
