Fonctions : | Rev. William Frederick Wakefield Seaman (11 May 1876-29 Sept 1943) was the husband of Florence Alethea Ireland (30 July 1877-25 May 1964). Florence was one of George Ireland's older sisters, and was one of 12 children born to John and Eliza Ireland. William was a Rector at St. Stephen's Church, Grandmere, Quebec. He came to Burlington and married Florence on 15 Jan 1908 at St. John's Anglican Church. William served in the military during World War 1 as a Chaplain (through Montreal) and was issued a Certificate with Badge on 7 June 1919 - Class A, No. 292894, Rank - Captain, Unit C.F.A., Reason for Issue - Service in France. William and Florence moved to Toronto and lived there until William's death in 1943. Florence moved back to Oakridge Farm and lived with George and his daughter, Marie, until her death in 1964. |
