| Description : | The floor-model radio is rectangular in shape and stands upright at a height of just over one metre. Covered in a varnished wood finish, dials on the front were used for tuning. A turntable is attached to the back. |
| Commentaires : | The Wells-Gardner Electric Corporation was formed in 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. It manufactured a wide range of electronic equipment, including radios. Many of their radios, however, sold under different trade names " such as Arcadia. This series A3-MB radio likely dates from the 1930s. |
| Fonctions : | The radio was owned by Rhoda Payne of Cow Head. It was a gift from George and Martha Billard for friendship and babysitting services. The turntable was added by George Billard. |
