Buttons and buttonhole closure. Lined to hip length. Stand up collar with lace edging. CB seam which opens into a pleat (inverted) below the waist. Back of Polonaise is longer than the front and ties up inside to form a bustle effect. Front length is approximately mid-calf. Two piece sleeve fitted into armscye.
