Description : | Boat neck with elastic inside edging. Raglan sleeve with 4.25" cuff. Legs have 4.25" cuff. One piece. One side seam from arm to elastic back opening there is a piece of fabric stitched over seam. 14"/36 cm elastic in trap door. Stitched fly opening in front. *worn by Rev. Frank Archibald all Winter. *Long johns - 2 pairs - identical. |
Fonctions : | Belonged to Rev. Dr. Frank Archibald, minister of United Church in Moncton. Born in Truro 1903; died Windsor Elms, Dec. 1988; m. Margaret Campbell of Windsor in 1934. He served at Plaster Rock, Walton, Stewiacke and Windsor before going to Moncton. Served in Moncton from 1943-1970. He wrote books on Prayers, sermons and biographies. He also wrote the "For Persons Only" column in the 'United Churchmen'. Pat Archibald d/o Frank and Margaret rec'd her RN at the Victoria General. Married to Dr Garry Condon, dentist in Kentville, class of '58, Acadia. Rev. A. Fred Archibald, United Church Minister, retired in New Glasgow. He also served in Windsor, for 15 years. |
