| Description : | Zipper on left side - 6" metal. No hem - a raw edge. Hems at the sleeves and neck edge are turned only once. Top stitched waist band - 2.75" at back - and in shirt cut on bias and A-line. Scoop neck. Long sleeves. |
| Fonctions : | Dorothy Walker attended the Margaret Eaton school of Phys Ed from 1939-1941. The modern dance class wore this dress - they were the first class to wear a short dress and they hated it. They wore red bloomers under the dress. For a performance at the Eaton Center, near the college, at their graduation they wore a long white skirt over the red dress. |
