| Description : | Baby dress has short puff sleeves with cuff. Two pearl buttons and 2 hand made buttonholes in back placket. 2 hand stitched tucks on each side of back, front has 2 groups of 6 and 2 groups of 3 in front. 6 clusters of embroidered flowers around front of neck and one out center front. Twelve small embroidered dots on front. Neckline is scalloped and has hand buttonhole stitch, hem to more deeply scalloped and buttonhole stitched. Pink ribbon front left. |

This was found by the donor in her mother's (Dorothy Etta Swindell) trunk and is thought to have belonged to Dorothy's mother - Ina Jane Swindell (1891-1981) of Burlington NS. |
