| Description : | A pair of white kid infant's shoes with button-up strap. Toe design fans out towards toes and is a combination of rows of stitching and tiny holes. Suede leather soles. |
| Commentaires : | Collection belonged to and was worn by the donor's mother Shirley Fielding Brehaut (1922-2000). Her parents, Percy Roy Fielding (1900-19510 and Irene Vernon Fielding (1903-1979) were living and working in Boston managing theatres when Shirlee was a baby circa 1922-1925. They moved back to Canada and managed theatres in Nova Scotia including Wolfville in the 1930s. Shirlee married Lowell M. Brehaut (1923-Aug. 1944) and they had one child, the donor Julie Brehaut Sollows born on May 29, 1944. |
